Have Pictures Of Interesting Cyclists You Have Seen? If you have any pictures of unique or interesting cyclists please send them to me at: bill@ridingforadventure.com with as much info as you have on them and I will try to get them posted. The first submitter of a picture of an interesting cyclist in June will receive a free sticker. Be sure to include your address.
Hunter, On His Way To Pennsylvania I saw Hunter near Farragut, TN today and stopped to talk to him a few minutes. He has taken many rides and said he had traveled across much of the United States.
I Met An Interesting Cyclist I was running a few errands today and saw what is probably one of the two most interesting bicyclists I have ever seen. Check out these pics:
Notice his old friend taking a snooze. This guy, Earl, was riding his custom rig in the rain and I just had to stop for a few pictures. He lives just outside of Knoxville near Powell. I talked to him for just a few minutes and wish we both had more time to talk about him and how he built all of the things on his bike. If you are lucky enough to see him I am sure his stories would be worth more than the cost of a meal and your time, if you get my hint. It always seems that I learn a lot when I listen to anyone this unique. If you are wondering about the other bicyclist in my top two list I will tell you. I saw him just outside of Taos, NM. Doesn't he look interesting:
I wasn't able to stop and talk to him but I wish I could have. Does anyone out there have any pictures of their most interesting cyclists? If you do, please email them to me with a short story about it and I will try to get them posted too. Update: I heard from a guy who knows this cyclist. His name is Grandpa Woodstock and he is well traveled, having been seen all around the country. Makes me wish even more that I had stopped to talk to him. Thanks Austin for the info.
